As a socially responsible company, community involvement plays an important part at Dieppe Insurance. Through financial contributions as well as through the efforts of our staff, family and friends, our goal is to make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Through the annual Dieppe Charity Classic, we support two local charities whose aim is to improve the health and quality of life of the communities we serve.

Over $40,600 has been raised since 2004. The first Dieppe Charity Classic was held September 25, 2004 and raised over $9,000 to benefit The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. and The Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation’s MRI campaign. In 2007, $10,000 was shared between the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation (see photo) and to Transition to Betterness.
Rick Durocher, a Commercial Insurance Consultant at Dieppe, and his wife Kathy decided to organize the event to raise funds after losing family members to cancer. The Charity Classic takes place each September on or near the date of Rick and Kathy’s wedding anniversary. They plan to continue raising funds on their anniversary as long as the need exists.

Dieppe will donate ten percent of our proceeds from insurance sales generated from the NOTEWORTHY INSURANCE PROGRAM back to the WSO.
